Jenny will share her story of being trafficked and how God rescued her and brought healing to her life. Additional Events

August 22-25 | All Day

Men’s Weekend Canoe Trip (hosted by Empowering Ranch)

Boundary Waters Canoe Area

Each Men’s Physical & Spiritual Adventure Retreat offers us an opportunity to get out of our boxes, to go into the wilderness, and to be with God and other men. The word for wilderness in scripture has at its Hebrew root the meaning “to speak.” When people go out into the wilderness in scripture, they hear God speak (e.g. Hagar, Moses, the Israelites, Jesus). Come be a part of this adventure where we will tell stories, have conversations, be still, enjoy beauty, explore scripture through the Socratic Method (an invitational, question-rich style of engagement), and feel alive because the topography around us will match the topography of our hearts–and we were created for such congruence.

Caring Well-Equipping the Church to Confront the Abuse Crisis | October 3-5

Churches should be a refuge for those who have experienced abuse. But, too often, survivors haven’t found the protection they deserve and the care they need from the church. Are you ready to join us in changing that? The ERLC and SBC Sexual Abuse Advisory Group are partnering together to present Caring Well: Equipping the Church to Confront the Abuse Crisis, at the Gaylord Texan on October 3-5, 2019. This event will feature survivors, experts, pastors, and advocates who will seek to equip Christians on the subject of abuse and related issues to empower their churches in
